Our Philosophy

Beachy Buttz Dog Grooming Studio is a boutique grooming space created for dogs who thrive in a calm, caring, and professional environment. Every groom is approached with patience, respect, and thoughtful attention.

These Terms & Conditions exist to support your dog’s comfort and safety, while clearly setting expectations for our clients and our studio.

By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following.

Agreement & Bookings

By making a booking (online, by phone, or in person), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
Bookings cannot be accepted without agreement.

All grooming services are provided by appointment only.

Appointment Times

Appointment times are estimates and may vary depending on coat condition, behaviour, or your dog’s comfort
We work at your dog’s pace and will never rush a groom
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a groom if continuing would not be in your dog’s best interest

Our priority is always your dog’s welfare.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling
Late cancellations or missed appointments may attract a fee or loss of deposit (where applicable)
Repeated missed appointments may result in future bookings being declined

Collection & Care Time

Dogs should be collected promptly once grooming is complete
Late collection may attract an additional care fee
Dogs left beyond a reasonable period may be subject to further action to ensure their welfare

Health & Medical Disclosure

For the safety of all dogs in our care:

Dogs must be in good general health and free from contagious illness, parasites, or infections
Owners must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, skin sensitivities, mobility concerns, or recent surgeries prior to grooming
Grooming may be declined or discontinued if a dog appears unwell or at risk

Behaviour & Stress Management

Please advise us of any anxiety, fear, aggression, or history of biting prior to your appointment

If a dog becomes overly stressed or unsafe to groom, the session will be stopped immediately
In these circumstances, full or partial charges may still apply

Your dog’s wellbeing will always guide our decisions.

Fleas, Ticks & Coat Condition

Dogs found to have fleas or ticks may attract an additional treatment fee or have grooming declined
Severely matted coats may require clipping or shaving to prevent discomfort or injury
Skin irritation or underlying conditions revealed after removal of severe matting are not the responsibility of the studio

Grooming Risks

Every groom is approached with care and professionalism; however, grooming carries inherent risks, including minor irritation or small nicks.

We cannot accept responsibility for complications arising from pre‑existing medical conditions, skin sensitivities, or coat neglect.

Emergency Veterinary Care

In the unlikely event of an emergency:

Every effort will be made to contact you immediately
If you cannot be reached, we may seek veterinary treatment at your expense
